I wanted to blog a few photos from my trip to vancouver and salt spring island with my dad. we take a father/daughter trip every year, and this year we trekked to canada, went zip-lining across mountains, took a float plane to visit some friends on salt spring island and rocked out in their basement studio to the music stylings of mr. chris gadsby! great fun, as always.

even the view from the plane was gorgeous.

I took a long walk the first day and saw a bit of the town along the way. kind of liked this dress for my rehearsal dinner, but the store wasn’t open. sigh.

the heritage houses of new westminster.

arrived in vancouver. ’bout to go out and party, wilson-style.

wasting time before zip-lining.

more time-wasting.
(we don’t have any pictures from actual zip-lining because my camera was too big to bring with us. but we do have a killer video that I may post later. it’s mostly of trees whizzing by.)

taking the float plane. absolutely gorgeous ride.

one reason why i love my dad. just one of many.

chris gadsby (our lovely host) rockin’ out for us. he even let me play the drums!

(credit for this pic goes to my dad!)

took the ferry on the way back.

our last night in van. i’m not sure what this series means, except a lot of people got poked in the eye.

thanks for a great trip, dad!!
